For those of you who use the Grid Course format by Gareth Barnard (and, according to Moodle stats, there are lots of you!), you’ll be interested to know that this plugin has been updated for compatibility with Moodle 3.0.

The Grid Format provides a unique way to structure a Moodle course. The format provides all course topics as a matrix of images (in a grid, obviously), that represent each of the course topics. Clicking on an image dives the user into the related material.

You can see a nice overview of the format here:

You can download the Grid Course Format on Moodle.org here.

  • Released too soon! A slight logic flaw which I’m testing with the new show shadebox on named anchor functionality. Will release update this week.

  • Thanks for the heads up. Please let us know when you’ve updated.
