There's a new theme out for Moodle 1.9x available from Moodle.org's theme database: http://moodle.org/mod/data/view.php?d=26&rid=4098 The theme is called Isometric and is quite striking: At my request Mary also formatted the theme to be seen with a logo: B-e-a-utiful. The developers of MoodleTouch talk about their new #iPad app
Ali Ozgur was nice enough to lend us a few minutes and answer some questions about their new iPad app (due out in September): Why the push into Mobile learning? mPage Mobile App update: mBook for #iPad is coming (and a video)
We got an exclusive update from mPage about their development progress. They've just released mPage 1.1 for iOS (which is a free limited edition, meaning that there are additional fees for full additional functionality¹) to the iTunes app store and the changes are both substantial and pretty cool. The features below are view only, but if [...]
Ask Mr. Moodle: is Godaddy hosting good enough for a small Moodle?
Here's a question from a little while ago submitted to our quick "ask Mr. Moodle" survey: http://goo.gl/6aU2. Is a godaddy shared hosting account sufficient enough to be able to host and operate moodle? I know a dedicated server is suggested, but they're expensive. I wouldn't have more than 50 people on it at a time, so I'm hoping it would be [...]

Making Moodle work better on #Chrome browser
I use Chrome browser for my day to day internet browsing and work, even for accessing Moodle site. Which is why it kinda stinks that the HTMLArea text editor doesn't function in Chrome. There are 2 ways to get it to work though, so if you're a Chrome and Moodle fan and want to love them both at the same time, check out these two [...]
