EdWiser Bridge Collapses The WordPress And Moodle Galaxies Into One

EdWiser recently announced the launch of Bridge 1.2, which aims to connect the Open Source platforms of Moodle and WordPress. EdWiser developer Chirag Shetty explains this quick update as the result of ongoing efforts in “listening to suggestions” and “thrashing every bug.”

Easy to install on WordPress, it activates by adding the corresponding Moodle course token. When this is done, EdWiser Bridge allows you to create content from WordPress and submit it as course content in Moodle. User data can also be accessed through WordPress.

Moodlepreneurs should give Bridge a try, EdWiser suggests, as it streamlines the promotion and direct selling of Moodle courses from a WordPress site. Bridge helps in creating a catalog in a blog or WordPress site, with tiles and layouts for course description and pricing. What’s more, visitors can use PayPal to pay for Moodle courses if it is enabled in the WordPress site.

The plugin is free and supports multiple languages. Extended functionality, such as WooCommerce integration, Single Sign On, Selective Sync and Bulk Purchase, is available as premium features.
