The 2016 Moodle Moot in Ireland and the UK begins tomorrow, 22 MAR 16, and it looks like its going to be a great time. The twitter feed for #mootieuk16 is starting to heat up as people head over to the event, presenters plug their talks and sponsors entice Moodlers to come check out their wares. We’ll be listening it to make sure and capture all the best and brightest to share with you here.
The event starts on the 22nd with a bunch of Master Classes (Learning analytics, Assessment, MOOC design and Mobile learning) and a Developer Hackfest. I’m sure all of these will be of the highest quality and those in attendance will wish they were longer than one day.
On day two (23 March), @Moodler will kick things off with the opening Keynote and then presentations run from there. I’m particularly interested in the “Workplace” stream as I think the Moodleverse is ripe for as much practical application as possible and the presentations look like they will deliver. The entire event will be wrapped up on Day 3 by a key note form Gavin Hendrick, who will discuss where Moodle is at in 2016.
If you can’t attend the show, follow it here – we’ll be paying attention and sharing all the news from the event.
