Often, instructors have a need to connect or combine assignments or tasks for students; breaking down the completion of a larger activity into smaller parts. Within Moodle, one of the best ways to accomplish this is with the TaskChain plugin, which has recently been updated for version 3.0. From Moodle.org:
The TaskChain module allows several elearning “tasks” to be connected together into a “chain” which forms a single Moodle activity. The activity is accessed by clicking on a link on a Moodle course page.
TaskChain allows you to combine tasks, decluttering any Moodle course page. The plugin also allows you to add pre- and post-conditions for any task to ensure that students are completing tasks in the correct sequence or in line with other rules you’ve created.
Do you use the TaskChain plugin in your course? Let us about it in the comments below!
