10 new question types for Moodle from @openuniversity

Tim Hunt (@tim_hunt) shot me a quick note regarding the release of 10 (yes, TEN) new question types for Moodle which you can download from the contributed Plugin/Addon database at Moodle.org: http://moodle.org/plugins/browse.php?list=category&id=29&p=0.  These 10 new types are created and maintained by the Open University, they include,

  • drag and drop
  • drag and drop onto and image
  • numeric input
  • “hot spot” or “Marker” (click on an image to log a selection)
  • and more

If you’re interested in checking them out you can try them at http://jamiep.org which showcases (registration is free) some examples of a few of the questions. Learn more about the various question types or download them at either http://jamiep.org/ or http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=196068. Below is a video that highlights the questions the drag and drop variety.
