  1. I am excited to try the app. But am looking foward to a version on other platforms such as Android. Not everyone has an iPhone 😉

  2. For all those who are asking, Android is indeed next cab off the rank. Being built for iOS first as it is the most prevalent. As soon as it is complete an Android developer will be engaged to Port it.

  3. Karen, could be that it’s still only available for the ipod/iphone. I do know that Moodle HQ is working to expand the number of devices that their Moodle app works on. Regular Moodle sites should all work great on iPad.

  4. @Karen,

The list for development is iPhone/iPod first, then Android phones, then iPad, then Android tabletsm, then ‘other’. So, phones first, then tablets, with Apple being given the priority.

(I’ve seen this on an official Moodle page, but sadly cannot find it at the moment!)

I think developing a tablet version of the app separately to the phone version will result in a better tablet app all round, as long as it’s not simply a port of the phone version with everything scaled up to make it fit!
