USA Leads with 3 registered installs of +30,000 users

According to the docs at Moodle.org, the US leads all countries with the most Moodle installations with over 30,000 users¹.  These three installations account for nearly 200,000 students (that’s double the total number of k-12 students in my home state of Vermont)!

The three educational institutions are:

  1. San Francisco State University (higher education) – http://www.sfsu.edu/
  2. University of Minnesota (higher education) – http://www1.umn.edu/moodle/
  3. Pinellas County Schools (k-12) – http://moodle.pcsb.org/

However, there are more reliable numbers at http://moodle.org/stats/ which paint a more diverse picture.

A more diverse picture, but harder to discern. I find it very interesting wading through the registered sites, it’d be neat to see that information broken down by country (which may exist but I just have not found it yet).

    Thanks, Tim!
