Nanogong, a popular voice recording plug-in for Moodle released it’s version 4.0 today.

Nanogong offers an easy integration of voice recording right into Moodle, allowing teachers and students to record audio straight to their Moodle sites, assignments or web pages.  According to the site,

NanoGong provides a very simple and transparent voice support for Moodle. Using a NanoGong activity and a NanoGong filter NanoGong provides two different types of voice support for Moodle.

The team at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology has set up a great testing site for anyone interested in trying Nanogong before installing it on their own Moodle site: http://gong.ust.hk/moodle/.  For more information about the release, check any of the the following links:
