I have created a moodle, but I don’t know how to let students get access to the moodle with enrolment key. gnomio deosn’t provide registration page for students!

If you any idea, please reply to my post as soon as possible.

gnomio.com has adverts, but you can turn them off for a low fee of less than 1 Euro per day.

One of the pollsters suggested the FREE http://www.gnomio.com. It looks really good.
- Doesn’t even take a minute to create your own free Moodle site.
- Lots of modules, activities
- A dazzling array of blocks.
- A large choice of themes.

One downside is the long URL they give you, but hey, one can get used to a login URL given time. Reminds me of http://www.keytoschool.com's Moodle 1.9.8. That was before they changed over to Moodle 2.0.

Thanks! I need it to use with at least 80 students, sometimes for homework so all at once. Plus I’d have them use it for sevearal lessons a week so I don’t know if that would be a problem? Thank you for your quick answer, I’ll check out the provider you use. I just discovered your blog today and am loving it!

Karin, this is a highly subjective/opinionated question so I’m going to put it out to the community. Personally I use http://www.Bluehost.com to host both this site (wordpress) and my personal Moodle site. My Moodle doesn’t get a lot of traffic so I’m unsure of how good the shared hosting environment is for server-intensive operations (my guess is not nearly as good as a dedicated server), however it’s very inexpensive (~$80 annually) and it suits me just fine. I have never had any trouble with upgrades or outages.

What are the best hosting options, in your opinion, for Moodle? It doesn’t have to be free but as I am not going to be making money off it – it shouldn’t be to expensive either. I work at a small school and the school will pay the fee (I hope)
