Ramon Eixarch, a staff member at Maths for More, creators of the WIRIS (@wirismath) extension for Moodle sent along this great video that really highlights how easily equations can be created using their extension.  Seems to be a very easy way to create and edit mathematical equations with your Moodle text editor.
